We only collect the information we truly need, nothing more. Depending on your interaction with us, this may include:

  • your name and surname,

  • your email address,

  • your position or organization,

  • the content of your message (if you contact us through a form),

  • details provided when subscribing to our newsletter, signing up for an event, or joining Assistologist.

We do not collect sensitive data (such as health, financial, or religious information).

We use your data to:

  • send you our newsletter and educational materials,

  • inform you about events, workshops, and projects,

  • respond to your questions and messages,

  • manage your membership or event registration,

  • analyze and improve the way we communicate and serve our community.

  • Performance of a contract or pre-contractual actions (Art. 6(1)(b)),

  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)),

  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)), e.g. communication and ensuring website security.

 

 

4. How long do we keep your data?

Only as long as necessary:

  • while you are an active member or subscriber,

  • until you withdraw your consent,

  • or for as long as required by law.

After that, your data will be safely deleted or anonymized.

 

 

5. Who can access your data?

We work only with trusted partners who comply with GDPR:

  • Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) - for email communication and newsletters,

  • Wix.com Ltd. - for hosting and maintaining www.assistologist.com,

  • Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Workspace) - for email and document management.

All these providers process data under data processing agreements and cannot use it for their own purposes. Your data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA) unless proper safeguards (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

 

 

6. Your rights - you’re in full control

You have the right to:

  • access your data,

  • correct it,

  • request its deletion (“right to be forgotten”),

  • restrict processing,

  • transfer your data to another controller,

  • object to processing,

  • withdraw your consent at any time.

If you believe your rights have been violated, you can contact The President of the Polish Data Protection Office (UODO).

7. Do you have to share your data?

No, it’s entirely up to you. However, if you choose not to share your data, we may not be able to send you our newsletter, register you for an event, or reply to your inquiry.
